An independent hair salon in Deptford, designed around the operator's client experience. The brief was the independent salon's hardest version: a premium presentation in a market that distrusts premium pretension. The interior had to read as confident without reading as exclusive.
Materials chosen for both client comfort and the operational reality of a salon trading six days a week. Storage specified for stock, tools, and the daily rhythm of the chairs. The salon trades at the rate the work has long deserved.
